Fire Alarm Inspection

Dear Residents of Welch Road,

 

As part of our ongoing maintenance of Welch Road Apartments, we will be conducting fire alarm inspections throughout the community.  These tests, inspections and heat detector and sprinkler head replacements are mandatory. Representatives from the Fire Alarm System Services (FASS) and Superior Fire Sprinklers will be conducting the inspections of each home. Your presence is not required for the inspection. All pets must be secured.

The inspections will take place from  8:30am to 4:00pm.  During the inspection, the focus will be on viewing all sprinklers in every room, closet, and ceiling/wall panels. They must be able to access every sprinkler head, including inside closets and laundry rooms. Please ensure that the area is clear to allow easy access to the sprinkler heads. Please understand that we cannot schedule individualized appointments for inspections.

Monday, February 6, 2023 1180, 1170, and 1160
Tuesday, February 7, 2023 1150, 1130, and 1120

 

Please Note: This inspection will require vendors to access the interior of your unit. Access to your home to complete the inspection will take approximately 1 day. The audio of the alarm system will be tested in the inspected buildings throughout the day. Noise from the alarm tests may be heard from your neighboring buildings.

Technicians from Fire Alarm System Services (FASS) will be wearing protective equipment to ensure safety. They will be escorted by one of Welch Road Maintenance Team members and/or our Courtesy Patrol personnel. The horns will remain on while each unit in the building is accessed to determine if the alarm is sounding and the strobe light is flashing inside the home.
