Notice of Exterior Sconce Lighting Installation: Building 1180

Dear Residents of Building 1180,

 

We hope this finds you well. We are writing to let you know that as part of the exterior repairs and reconstruction project our contractors will require access to your patio and balcony for the exterior sconce llighting installation. To complete these installations, we will need 1 hour per unit. We anticipate the construction timeline that requires access to your balcony and patio to occur over a two (2) day period. The installation timeline for the entire building is anticipated to occur over a one (1) week period with work occuring between 8:00 am through 4:30 pm, barring any changes or delays. Please find the installation schedule below:

Balcony Access Timeline Monday, April 18, 2022 through Tuesday, April 19, 2022
Entire Building Monday, April 18, 2022 through Friday, April 22, 2022

Please Note: This project will require contractors to access the patio or balcony attached to your unit. Access to your individual patio or balcony to perform the work will take approximately 1 hour for each unit. The construction team will access your balconies via ladders on the exterior of the building.

Additional Guidelines are provided to you as reference prior to start of work and during the reconstruction phase of the project:

  1. Clear Work Areas: Please clear any personal belongings, door mats, plants, etc. at least 4 feet from the work area.
  2. Keep Windows and Doors Closed: Please keep all windows, doors, and associated window coverings near the work areas closed during construction.
  3. Work Hours: The Contractor's working schedule is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Mondays through Friday (excluding major holidays). Please avoid the work areas during this period. There will be days that the vendors may not be working onsite to allow applied building materials/products sufficient curing/drying time.
  4. Noise: There will be sporadic, low noise from the construction work.
  5. Dust: There will be dust resulting from construction work.
  6. Contractor Identification: All contractor field employees will be identified with company safety vests or attire.
    • Please do not approach the workers under any circumstances unless it is an emergency. If you have to pass the work area for any reason, please maintain the regulated six (6) feet distance.
    • All contractors will be wearing face masks for protection and safety.
    • All contractors will be undergoing daily temperature checks prior to start of work.
    • Any contractor who shows symptoms of being sick will not be allowed onsite.
  7. Pets: Please keep all pets, animals, and children safely secured indoors away from the work area.
  8. Notice and Schedule Changes: This Notice will serve as Notice to Resident. This schedule may be subject to changes, delays, work modifications and operational adjustments due to implementation of safety protocols (including social distancing, sanitation, and other procedures due to Coronavirus/COVID-19), weather, additional damages uncovered, any delays related to mock-ups, additional inspections and testing, value engineering or repair processes, other unforeseen conditions and/or any other issues outside of the construction team's control.
  9. Stay Alert: Please be careful and stay aware of your surroundings when you enter and exit. Access may be rerouted during this period. Please follow the signs accordingly.
