Notice of Upcoming Community Projects Spaces 77 through 80: Carport Renovations
As part of the exterior repairs and reconstruction project, the carport spaces numbered 77 through 80 will be undergoing renovations beginning Monday, October 20th 2021 to Friday, November 5th, 2021. These carports will not be accessible throughout the duration of this project, with a forecasted timeline of a minimum of 32 days. Impacted residents will be assigned to alternate parking spaces during this project. Please expect an email for instructions on where you would be parking during this period. During this construction period, all bikes stored in the storage area behind carports 77-80 must be removed. Any bikes not removed before October 20th, 2021 will be removed and disposed of.

- Vehicle, Bikes, Personal Belongings, and Damages: In order for these projects to go smoothly and to avoid workflow interruptions, you must move your vehicle and all of your belongings from your area prior to Monday, October 20th, 2021. Welch Road Apartments and subcontractors are not responsible for moving items from these areas. Welch Road Apartments and its subcontractors assume no liability or responsibility for damages to items required to be moved to perform the work and other existing conditions.
- Construction Hours: Our contractor’s working hours are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm during Mondays through Fridays (excluding holidays). Please avoid these areas during this time.
- Dust: There may some minor dust resulting from contractor’s work in these areas.
- Noise: There will be loud noises resulting from this work from several sources such as grading equipment, motorized vehicles / equipment, tools, compressors, etc. Please keep your doors and windows closed to minimize noise.
- Contractor Identification: All contractor field employees will be identified with company safety vests.
- Please do not approach the workers under any circumstances unless it is an emergency. If you have to pass the work area for any reason, please maintain the regulated six (6) feet distance. All contractors will be wearing face masks for protection and safety. Any contractor who shows symptoms of being sick will not be allowed onsite.
- Pets: For the safety of your pets and our workers, please provide a secure location for your pets during construction and refrain from these work areas.
- Stay Alert: Please be careful and stay aware of your surroundings when you enter and exit. Pedestrian and automobile accesses may be rerouted during this period. Please follow the signs accordingly.
- Notice and Schedule Changes: The posting of this Notice will serve as Notice to Residents. This schedule may be subject to changes, delays, work modifications and operational adjustments due to implementation of safety protocols (including social distancing, sanitation, and other procedures due to Coronavirus/COVID-19), weather, additional damage uncovered, any delays related to mock-ups, additional inspections and testing, value engineering or repair processes, other unforeseen conditions and/or any other issues outside of the Contractor's control.
