Dear Valued Residents,

 

In an effort to improve the quality of the surface parking streets at Welch Road for vehicles and pedestrians, please be advised that beginning on Monday, April 17, 2023 through Monday, April 24, 2023, the parking lot will be resurfaced and repaved. The scheduled work will restrict your ability to park at your designated spaces. 

The schedule is as follows:

  • Phase 1: Monday, April 17, 2023 through Tuesday, April 18, 2023
    • Parking spots 047, 048, 049, 050, 051, 052, 053, 054, 055, 056, 057, 058, 059. 060, 061, 062, 063, 064, 065, 066, 067, 068, 069, 070, 071, 072, 232, 233, 234, 235, 235A, 236, 237, 238, 239, and 240 will be closed for paving from 7:30am to 5pm. No parking lot access will be given from 7:30am to 5:00pm.
  • Phase 2: Tuesday, April 18, 2023 through Wednesday, April 19, 2023
    • Parking spots 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 246A, 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 252, 253, 073, 074, 075, 076, 077, 078, 079, 080, 081, 082, 083, 084, 085, 086, 087, 088, 089, 090, 091, 092, 093, 094, 095, 096, 097, 098, 099, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, and 106 will be closed for paving from 7:30am to 5pm. No parking lot access will be given from 7:30am to 5:00pm. 
  • Phase 3: Wednesday, April 19, 2023 through Thursday, April 20, 2023
    • Parking spots from 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 025, 026, 027, 028, 029, 030, 031, 032, 033, 034, 035, 036, 037, 038, 039, 040, 041, 042, 043, 044, 045, 046 will be closed for paving from 7:30am to 5pm. No parking lot access will be given from 7:30am to 5:00pm. 
  • Phases 4 & 5: Thursday, April 20, 2023 through Friday, April 21, 2023
    • Parking spots 221, 220, 219, 218, 024, 023, 217, 022, 021, 020, 019, 216, 215, 214, 213, 212, 211, 018, 017, 016, 015, 014, 013, 012, 011, 010, 009, 008, 007, 006, 005, 004, 003, 002, 001, 210, 209, 208, 207, 206, 205, 204, 203, 202, 201, and 200 will be closed for paving from 7:30am to 5pm. No parking lot access will be given from 7:30am to 5:00pm. 

The above timeline may be subject to changes or delays due to weather.

The work will include but not be limited to:

  • Repaving 
  • Striping

We are providing a map that provides a visual representation of the work area and the associated dates of work.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR VEHICLE REMOVED FROM THE PARKING AREA TO BE PAVED BY 7:30 A.M. ON THE DESIGNATED DAYS. YOU MAY RETURN TO YOUR ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE AFTER 5:00 PM WHEN THE BARRIERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. 

Tow trucks will be relocating all vehicles parked at the areas of work after 7:30 am. PLEASE CONTACT THE LEASING OFFICE FOR THE LOCATION OF TOWED VEHICLES. 

Please be aware of your surroundings while passing the work area as there will be a good number of machines, equipment and workers.

Please review the additional guidelines below for your reference:

  1. Keep Windows and Doors Closed: Please keep all windows and doors and associated window coverings near work areas closed during construction. 
  2. Work Hours: The Contractor’s working schedule is from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Mondays through Fridays (excluding major Holidays). Please refrain from the work areas during this time. There will be days that the contractor may not be working on-site to allow applied building products sufficient curing/drying time.
  3. Noise: There will be very loud noises at times during this work from demolition construction equipment which may include jackhammering and other loud noise. 
  4. Dust: There may be minor dust resulting from construction work. Please keep doors & windows closed to minimize any dust, debris and noise from this work.
  5. Contractor Identification: All Contractor field employees will be identified with company safety vests.
    • Please do not approach the workers under any circumstances unless it is an emergency. If you have to pass the work area for any reason, please maintain the regulated six (6) feet distance.
  6. Notice and Schedule Changes: The posting of this Notice will serve as Notice to Resident. This schedule may be subject to changes or delays due to weather, additional damage uncovered, any delays related to mock-ups, additional inspections and testing, or other unforeseen conditions and/or any other issues outside of the Contractor's control.
  7. Stay Alert: Please be careful and stay aware of your surroundings when you enter & exit. Walkway access may be rerouted during this period. Please follow the signs accordingly.
