Second Floor Walkway Deck - Building 1160

Dear Residents of Building 1160,
As part of the exterior repairs and reconstruction project, our contractors will apply a new coating system on the 2nd floor walkway. This project will affect all of the second floor. The work will start on Monday, April 25, 2022, and will take approximately two (2) weeks to complete.
Please see the map below for reference.
This work will include but not be limited to:
- Power washing the entire surface
- Application of primer and maintenance top coat
- Installation of a temporary elevated walkway system
Please review the additional guidelines below for your reference:
- Personal Belongings: In order for this mockup portion of the work to go smoothly and avoid interruptions, ALL BELONGINGS OUTSIDE YOUR UNIT MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE AREA PRIOR TO MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2022. Work will be delayed if there are items obstructing the area. Residents are responsible for moving shoes, welcome mats, plants, small furniture, toys, and other items that are at least 2-feet from the work areas and deck/patios.
- Keep Windows and Doors Closed: Please keep all windows and doors and associated window coverings near work areas closed during construction.
- Wall Vibrations: Please remove any fragile or wall hung items from the shared exterior wall and interior walls as there will be vibrations from the construction activity. The Contractor is not responsible for moving any personal belongings and assumes no liability or responsibility for damages to items left and not moved.
- Work Hours: The Contractor’s working schedule is from 7:30am to 4:30pm Mondays through Fridays (excluding major Holidays). Please refrain from the work areas during this time. There will be days that the contractor may not be working on-site to allow applied building products sufficient curing/drying time.
- Noise: There will be intermittent loud noise associated with this work.
- Dust: Temporary netting providing some dust protection will be erected during the work; however, there may be minor dust resulting from construction work.
- Contractor Identification: All Contractor field employees will be identified with company safety vests.
- Please do not approach the workers under any circumstances unless it is an emergency. If you have to pass the work area for any reason, please maintain the regulated six (6) feet distance.
- All contractors will be wearing face masks for protection and safety.
- Any contractor who shows symptoms of being sick will not be allowed onsite.
- Pets: For the safety of your pets and our workers, please provide a secure location for your pets during construction.
- Notice and Schedule Changes: The posting of this Notice will serve as Notice to Resident. This schedule may be subject to changes or delays due to weather, additional damage uncovered, any delays related to mock-ups, additional inspections and testing, or other unforeseen conditions and/or any other issues outside of the Contractor's control.
- Stay Alert: Please be careful and stay aware of your surroundings when you enter & exit. Walkway access may be rerouted during this period. Please follow the signs accordingly.
