Upcoming Laundry Room Upgrades

Dear Valued Residents,

 

As part of the exterior repairs and reconstruction project, our contractors will begin upgrades to the laundry room. We anticipate the project to begin on Monday, March 6, 2023. The work is expected to take approximately four (4) weeks. Please see the timeline below for reference:

Removal of Existing Windows/ Installation of New Windows 3 Days
Closing Up and Fill in Exterior Doorway Facing Bldg. 1130 2 Days
Waterproofing at New Windows and Closed Doorway 3 Days
Interior Repairs 5 Days
Exterior Stucco Repairs at New Window and Old Doorway 2 Weeks
Prime / Paint Exterior 1 Week

Please Note:  The Laundry Room will REMAIN OPEN during work; however, some minor delays may occur when accessing the washers due to window work.  There will be materials and equipment inside the facility, so we advise you to use extreme caution as you navigate through the area.

Please review the additional guidelines below for your reference:

  1. Work Hours: The Contractor’s working schedule is from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Mondays through Fridays (excluding major Holidays). Please refrain from the work areas during this time. There will be days that the contractor may not be working on-site to allow applied building products sufficient curing/drying time.
  2. Noise: There will be loud noises resulting from this work. Please keep your doors and windows closed to minimize noise. 
  3. Dust: There will be dust resulting from our work in these areas. If your unit is close to this area, please keep your doors & windows closed to minimize dust, debris and noise.
  4. Contractor Identification: All Contractor field employees will be identified with company safety vests.
    • Please do not approach the workers under any circumstances unless it is an emergency. If you have to pass the work area for any reason, please maintain the regulated six (6) feet distance.
  5. Notice and Schedule Changes: The posting of this Notice will serve as Notice to Resident. This schedule may be subject to changes or delays due to weather, additional damage uncovered, any delays related to mock-ups, additional inspections and testing, or other unforeseen conditions and/or any other issues outside of the Contractor's control.
  6. Stay Alert: Please be careful and stay aware of your surroundings when you enter and exit the area.
