GME Lottery

Stanford Health Care Graduate Medical Education (SHC GME) will send a lottery form link to eligible incoming house staff to sign up for the 2026 SHC GME Lottery at Welch Road Apartments around April 2026. Please note that the lottery form link is separate from the affiliate rate waiting list form and will come directly from SHC GME. Apartments in the SHC GME lottery are not offered to those on the affiliate rate waiting list during the lottery period from April 1, 2026 to June 1, 2026.

Incoming house staff must complete the lottery entry form no later than Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:59 PDT. Any submissions after this deadline will not be considered in the lottery. Entry into the lottery does not guarantee an apartment. Welch Road Apartments will offer apartments that are available according to the lottery draw order listed here. Entries are subject to verification of eligibility.

Incoming house staff who are entered into the lottery are assigned a Lottery Identification Number via email prior to the draw. The listing order of the lottery is determined via a third-party draw service. Results will be posted here on the week of May 4, 2026.
 

Results of the 2026 GME Lottery will be posted here after the draw has been completed. Please use your Lottery Identification Number to determine your position in the lottery.
 

Prospective tenants will be contacted by Welch Road Apartments via email and/or phone if an apartment becomes available. Prospective tenants must make a decision on the apartment within 24 hours of the apartment offer.
 

The lottery will end on Monday, June 1, 2026 or when no more apartments are available, whichever comes first.

2026 GME Lottery results have not been drawn yet. Please check back during the week of May 4, 2026. To view your position and status, please refer to your unique Lottery Identification Number that will be sent out to entrants via email prior to the draw.
